To promote the development of cross-border tourist products and diversify existing cross-border tourist services in the District of Pleven and Dolj County. To stimulate balanced development of peripheral economic zones of Bulgaria and Romania and popularize tourism as income generating sector of economie. To study the existing natural, historical and human resources in Dolj County and Pleven District and assess their potential for creation of new tourism products; To implement joint cross-border planning process in the field of tourism infrastructure development as prerequisite for sustainable growth; To strengthen the capacity of border municipalities to develop projects for tourism deelopment,across the border
