Stimulating Transnational SME interaction (STIMUTRAN-SME) (STIMUTRAN-SME)
Start date: Dec 31, 2005, End date: May 30, 2008 PROJECT  FINISHED

The STIMUTRAN project aims to boost innovation and knowledge transfer between SMEs of NWE thanks to Transnational Matching Centres (TMCs) which will help SMEs to start their transnational business activities and help them find compatible business partners. Achievements: The main conclusion which we can draw from this project is that it is possible to stimulate transnational SMEs interactions (STIMUTRAN-SME) and promote urbanrural SMEs cooperation by organising business matching events at trade fairs. SMEs that are ready for international cooperation can benefit greatly from the matching events and match-making service. This concept has been successfully developed by the STIMUTRAN partners and can be applied to other regions in the EU; by extending the TMC network partners.
