The project STEPS TOWARDS CHANGE - NEXT STEP ensures follow-up and sustainability to the cooperation initiated in 2011 within a currently running project STEPS TOWARDS CHANGE (352353-3.2.-SK-2011-1).The project involves 8 out of the original 18 partners (4 organisations from Europe, 2 from Asia, 1 from Africa and 1 from Latin America). All partner organisations host and send volunteers with fewer opportunities and each of them has different experience and field of expertise within voluntary work. The aim of the project is to to deepen the cooperatation within this network, promote intercultural dialogue, exchange experience and cooperation in the field of youth between the partner organisations and to create opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities to make a step towards a positive change in their life.The result of the project will be a stable and sustainable network of 8 organisations from Slovakia, Italy, Pttlgņri, Ti\r[myTAÜGtnam1 China^-Uganda-and C.nsta Rinawhir.h are willing tn host and send volunteers Withfewer opportunities abroad and actually implementing voluntary youth projects.During This group will continue in their preparation for voluntary service in cooperation with a project coordinator and 2-6 youth workers in each of the 8 partner organisations.The target group are 5-30 young people aged 18 to 30 in each partner organisation. This group of young people was formed during the currently running project Steps towards change. They are already active as local volunteers in their organisations. Currently, they are preparing for voluntary service abroad. This project will support their further personal development and preparation for the project.Secondary target group of the project are 3-6 youth workers in each partner organisation which are actively involved in work with these young people. The youth workers will gain new intercultural and professional experience during this project.The sending kit (a typed document created within the currently running project Steps toward change, providing information about all 18 original hosting places) will be developed into a VIDEO KIT about the hosting places in this project. This VIDEO KIT will be prepared by a young person with fewer opportunities and will be disseminated among a network of local organisations working with youth with fewer opportunities in each country of the original 18 partners.The project coordinators will meet at a coordination seminar in Slovakia in November 2012. During the remaining 10 months of the project, one representative of each partner organisation (project coordinator or youth worker) will meet at a mid-seminar in Poland and final seminar in Turkey. The aim of these seminars is to coordinate the common project work, make a field visit of the hosting places and to exchange experience. The European partners will also make a field visit of the hosting places in Costa Rica, Uganda and Vietnam. A VIDEO KIT will be created about all these hosting places.All partner organisations and the coordinating organisation KERIC will regularly update info about the project activities a the project Facebook page.The project covers all priorities 1-6 and 8-9 of this call for proposals.
