The project was realized between 2014 and 2016. The main project objective was to facilitate professional start and life stabilization to the participants, achieved by increasing their chances on the labor market. This will be achieved through the implementation of specific objectives: achieving new and expanding professional qualifications and language skills - in line with expectations of local employers, understanding and acceptance of cultural differences between countries of placements. During the implementation of the project, we applied the project work methodology developed in the previous projects. It based on clear division of tasks among the project employees, with the constant supervision over all project activities simultanously. The project was targeted at the students of second, third and fourth class of technical school, with specializations: technician of nutrition and restaurant services, cook, bricklayer-plasterer and motor vehicles technician. In the framework of the project we organized the internships for 4 groups of 12 in two countries - Portugal and Italy (two groups for each country). The internships were preceded by the pedagogical and cultural preparation and enriched with the cultural programme on site. After completing the internship programme and coming back to school, the interns filled in the online reports,prepared presentations and photo exhibition and shared the italian and portuguese recipes with the students who did not participate in the project. What constituted culminaion of the project was the final conference, in which participated guests from our school, from the neighbouring schools andother institutions colaaborating with us. During the conference, the students shared their experiences from the project and presented its efects. Among the efects of the project were: gaining new and widening owned professional knowledge and skills, developing language skills, gaining the ability to work in a multinational team, increasing professional and personal aspirations, developing the aceptance and tolerance for different habits and behaviors and getting to know the culture and customs of the host country. Apart from that the students received the documents certifying the participation in the mobility and in the different parts of the project, that is: certificate of the completion of language course, cerificate of the completion of preparation course, certificate od the completion of the internship, Europass Mobility certificate and barista course certificates for the students from catering and hotel sector. It turned out that the project was for the students a great opportunity to test their independence and improved their self-esteem. Working abroad enabled them to get to know and understand the value of cultural diversity in Europe. Thanks to the implementation of the project, ZST Bełżyce gained new experience in international cooperation. It was a great benefit for the teachers and office workers of the school administration. We hope they will use their experiences in the future professional life. The project was enriching also for the partners - for them it was the opportunity to get to know the new forms of cooperation and communication as well as the style of work typical for Poles and the intercultural dialogue with the students, teachers and project coordinators.
