The applicant for the Erasmus+ project was Technical Secondary School (ZSP Nr 1) in Lowicz named after 10 Infantry Regiment. The partner was Tellus (Group) Ltd, based in Plymouth. The participants of the project were a group of 16 students being educated in the professions such as: mechatronics, electricians and IT technicians. The duration of the training/ practice lasted for two weeks in the period from 8 to 19 February 2016. The main objective of the project was to improve the quality and novelty in vocational education in given Secondary School No. 1 in Łowicz by gaining new skills as well as linguistic and cultural competence. The project let the students to achieve specific objectives, namely familiarazing with the English working standards, with technological and quality standards. Familirazing with working conditions, typical equipment and procedures in a workplace were the following specific objectives. The project participants got professional training in mechanics, mechatronics, IT and automotive enterprises. The expected effects of the project were the acquisition of a practical knowledge and gaining professional experience among project participants. The project aimed to lead to the increase of the participants; professional potential on a labor market and to improve their linguistic competence (mainly professional vocabulary and its practical application). The place of exchange was Plymouth where our project partner is based. The place, because of its versatility, excellent hardware and competent staff , allowed the students to take full advantage of the training and archive objectives. The partner also provided us with the projects carers, the accommodation and meals and the adequate cultural programmes. The participation in the project was free of charge. The declaration of participation (after going through the recruitment process successfuly) obliged the student to the full implementation into the intended action.
