This project proposes the development of a network of 11 meteorological ground based stations. Apart from the 11 stations the project outputs include: • Two monitoring centers able to control stations' functions and retrieve data automatically . • Monthly reports on the mathematical treatment of incoming data. • Two reports on climatic trends in critical environmental parameters (such as precipitation heights). • Two web portals that will make available measurements and results at an easily understood tabular or graphical form. • Information of local authorities, via meetings, a conference and monthly announcements to local media.  Environmental education services to secondary-level schools
