The beneficiary of the project "European Training of professional practice for students with disabilities, in the textile industry" during 27.04-31.05.2015, is the Technology Special High-School " Beethoven" of Craiova, which has 216 students with disabilities from high school and post-secondary school. The receiving partner MONDOSPOSA DI MEDDIS CATERINA of Vibo Valentia, Italy, one of the most important companies of profile in the Region of Calabria for gala products gala and ceremony. The participants are 22 students with disabilities, or deaf, or with mental deficiency, which require practical quality training in the textile industry in order to increase their chances of integration on the labor market. The group of participants will consist of two specializations : 9 students to be in class XII, level 2 of vocational qualification, specialty in textiles confectioner, 10 students in XIIth grade and 3 students in XIII grade will have 3rd level of professional qualification, specializing in textile technician. The three classes that will select the 22 participants in mobility with the following characteristics: -31% are young students with disabilities, to DGASPC Dolj institutionalized, following that at the completion of studies, as adults, to lose this status af assisted person, the consequences are the unemployment, beggarcy or homeless people. -38% come from rural families with ndigent situation, that practice subsistence agriculture, and by the professional quality education we want to prevent this unsustainable lifestyle on medium and long term. 34% of all students of the three classes are Roma, who are at risk of segregation. -100% have hearing disabilities or certified mental disabilities Objectives: - Development of skills, practical skills to professionalize in the textile industry for 22 students with disabilities - Development of the Italian language skills of the 22 participants by completing an online training module offered by the platform of the European Commission and by learning experience of the internship . - Personal development of the 22 participants with disabilities, by collaborative learning skills in team work, ensuring hygiene and safety at work, by increasing standard of work quality, performed by effective communication training . - Increased desire and motivation of belonging to a job, by making useful skills and positive self- esteem; - promotion of a positive image about the usefulness of integration of people with disabilities qualified in your chosen profession, among employers and the local community by dissemination of results; - Encouraging the approach for socio -professional integration of participants by participation in cultural activities in the country of internship, interraction and initiative developed with the Italian community. Project activities: contracting, selection of participants, training of participants, dissemination and valorisation, achieving placement, final report. The methodology will consist of effective management, continuous monitoring of all activities, procedures of transparent spending of budget, safety and risk procedures in case of participants with disabilities, accurate and timely achievement of reporting, dissemination and valorisation of measurable indicators. Impactl on the participants: -professional development in the textile industry and linguistically, high self-esteem level; -certification that provides additional confidence in the valorification of personal potential on labor market; -the opportunity to find a job in an EU country and to engage at the receiving partner. Impact on the school: -strengthening the quality system in terms of professional and practical preparation of students; -increase of the percentage of professional insertion of graduates in the textile industry; -4 accompanying teachers that will develop skills and project management skills and linguistic for Italian; -developing teaching tools for instruction, assessment, monitoring used in stage. The local community will be an important benefit by economic agents in the textile industry which will feature 22 participants prepared in real and modern work conditions in order to align to EU legislation on mandatory percentages of employees with disabilities. Dissemination will be done during and after the project to ensure continuity and transfer of good practices. Instruments and methods used: website development, Facebook page, press conferences, banners, current information in educational structures, leaflets for people with disabilities and commercial agents, video materials, media promotion, dissemination sessions in the local community, economic entities, other public institutions with distribution of printed materials.
