Project Background With the project "Strengthening of transformative education for sustainable development in Europe" GEN Europe has contributed to the quality improvement and internationalization of education work. The project supported people to actively promote the sustainable development of our society. As part of the Ecovillage Movement, permaculture, but also in other contexts, educational programs and concepts have been developed to encourage people be socially active and fully exploit their competence. This form of education has been strengthened and internationalized by this project. The specific project objectives - Increase the pool of German trainers who can offer highly qualified courses in the area "Transformative Education" for an international audience - Transfer of Innovation - bringing methods and course formats to Germany are not yet existing here, but in other European countries - open up new target groups for transformative education (international participants, people with an immigrant background) and - Ensure an attractive, professional management of international and cultural courses in educational institutions of our members were all achieved: 27 Mob. were achieved by trainers i. sustainable adult education that previously not belonged to the networks. 80% of them are interested in further crosslinking under GEN or to pass on their acquired knowledge. Except 5 courses all mob. took place in 11 foreign languages. 59% of part. say that they have incorporated their new courses in existing Seminar Programmes. Number and profile of participants: As part of an open application, 120 mobilites were conducted by 66 participants (28 men and 38 women) within just over 22 months, whose average age is 40 years. The youngest part. is 21 years and female, the oldest also female and 69 years old. 58 of the part. work freelance, 8 are employed. Their activities are: Officers Committee for Community Education, Consultant for ecovillage founding, trainers for non-violent Communication, social change, self-organising structures, deep ecology, personal development, organizational development, Team support, applied Permaculture, theatre education and modern horse work as well as employees of GEN Europe and in international Educational institutions. Description of the mob.: 1. Jobshadowing (15 Mob) A. Management/Logistics/Organization: 9 mob. b. with organizations already working with migrants: 3 Mob. c. Assistance with innovative course formats: 8 Mob. wherein 5 mob. Covering two fields. 2. Seminars and Train-the-Trainer courses (90 Mob) a social and leadership skills. 31 Mob b. trainings to special issues: 28 Mob c. new methods and course-formats: 60 Mob d organizational development. 47 Mob E. English Language Courses: 4 Mob wherein 79 mob. are covering two u. more areas. 3. Teaching assignments (15 mob) Resulting., Reaching effect The expertise our partners coupled with direct practical application in their own environment and leads to special authenticity and a high quality of its teachings. Esp. the younger generation of under 35 takes this approach very seriously and calls him even as a condition to accept the presented learning contents. It is striking that the part. attend the courses primarily to experience the trainers live, because these are often leading authorities in their fields. The participants welcomed progress made in the 3 areas of Group Dynamics/I in the group, self-knowledge and intercultural dialogue. When choosing the jobshadowing organiz. very special deals came to fruition, as the exploration of a welcoming culture particularly for migrants or performing modern horse work. 45% of part. after their mob. have described a Course format which they can now offer to internat. part. Half of these participants are people from other EU countries, nearly 10% are migrants. The ERASMUS+ programme has significantly contributed to build a new Sociocratic Centre in Germany: 3 of 5 people in the founding board who participated in the GEN project. The first educational organiz. in Germany make their decisions sociocratically, others will follow. The extremely positive effect is seen in the fact that 98% of participants were satisfied with their mob. and 95% have reported to friends, colleagues or their employer. All participants will retain the EU funding and GEN Europe in good memory -. especially those who have experienced personal progress. Sociocracy will establish itself in Germany and contribute to grassroots leadership in many (educational) institutions. Some participants will tackle or continue the internationalization of their work and GEN Europe has proven to be an advanced international educational institution.
