The present call for proposals aims at:o Promoting long-term and sustainable cooperation between youth organisations from Programmeand Partner countries; o Fostering the process of development of quality youth policies and services with a special focuson any type of socially excluded young people in Partner countries, based on the Europeanexperience in the field; o Developing a network of youth organisations and other relevant stakeholders from Programmeand Partner countries aimed at promoting the exchange of experience and good practices in the---- -: field of youth development; .,-..-^._==,__ .,=., -.. o Building up the capacity of youth organisations from Partner countries "with the" purpose of ^contributing towards the process of youth empowerment and active participation which leads todémocratisation and civil society development;Themes that will be tackled by the project proposal:o Participation of young peopleo Cultural diversityo Inclusion of young people with fewer opportunitieso Global issues affecting young people, such as climate change, sustainable development,migrations, and the Millennium Development Goals o Combating poverty and social exclusionActivities foreseen:The present project proposal intends to establish a partnership consortium of equal numbers of organisations representing Programme and Partner countries (4 European - Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Austria and 4 Partner countries - Nepal, Viet Nam, Mexico and Peru). The project activities can be divided into two main axes:1. Building up the capacity of the partner organisations with particular focus on those representingthe Partner countries. The European partners will use their experience build through the implementationof a number of common projects in order to multiply it among the Partner countries. By building up thecapacity of youth organisations, improving the skills of youth workers and delivering local tailor-madetraining programmes into the Partner countries the project will improve the performance of youthorganisations, and will have a direct impact on the local youth by improving the services provided tothem, which will give a new impetus for the development of civil society into the target countries. Theproject will start with a pilot training for multipliers in the filed of image building, marketing and promotionof the services of youth NGOs which will be followed by a feasibility visits-in Bulgaria, Greece, Austriaand Italy. During the feasibility visits the representatives of the Partner countries will meet organisationssuccessfully working in the youth field, relevant institutions and media and will be able to directly learnfrom the European experience in building up strategic relations and implementing quality youth policiesand services. After the feasibility visit a need assessment of the target groups will be conducted into thecountries where local trainings will be delivered with the purpose of developing corresponding tailor-made approach to be used in accordance to the specific conditions and realities into the differentcountries. After the delivery of the local training programmes promotional image building local campaignswill be developed by the youth workers and young people trained with the support of the partnerconsortiums. The development of implementation of the promotional campaigns will provide the projectparticipants the chance to put on practice what they have learnt within the trainings.
