Our project "Sport keeps you fit and helps to integrate" is scheduled for January 2017thIt take take part adolescents aged 13 years from Poland, France, Romania and Germany.The young people are supported during their first intercultural experience through experiential learning offers and the sport is to connect with one another. The success of the activities is made possible by working together. Social, personal and intercultural skills of young people are strengthened. In addition the perception of one's body and a healthy lifestyle are on great interest. Daily sports workouts and healthy food help to achieve this project target. Big attention is given on the theme "Integration". Young people deal with this issue, carry out what it is, why it is necessary, what the youth can do themselves to help (foreign) fellows with this. Sport plays an important role because it is a common element which supports to build closer relations. The problem of "exclusion" is also to be considered in detail. Through role playing integration and exclusion are to be experienced.At the present time you often meet with people of other nationality, skin color or culture. Even in our own culture no one is equal to the other with his personal characteristics. The project should show to the youth that (cultural) diversity is something positive. Together they collect "properties" of their countries and cultures, compare them and will find similarities and differences. By the approach of the sport young people will find that they have more in common with young people from other countries, as they might have accepted in advance.By visiting a cooperating school youth get insight into the life and the daily life of German youth. The integration issue will be tested "in practice" and elaborated.In this connection, important values as fairness, respect and tolerance are considered to be transferable to dealing with other cultures in everyday life. From their sporting activity they are with these important values already familiar.Common interests will help to pave the way for the joint achievement of objectives and to provide a starting point for getting to know. Intercultural games are offered and in country mixed teams numerous group objectives will be achieved. For this a close, trusting relationship between the team members is necessary.The mixture of activities from sports and guided intercultural exercises designed to encourage young people to actively participate and encourage them to get in touch with cultural diversity apart.
