Sport as a common path for tolerance and respect (RESPECT BALTICUM)

The aim of the project is to reduce the negative effects of civilization hypokinesia and increase in the level of tolerance of cultural differences using the added value of international cooperation. The implementation will be possible thanks to the execution of the specific objectives of the project:1) the use of the Internet to increase the motivation of participation in physical activity among adolescents up to 17 years old.2) Induction of local residents through the use of popularity of football. It also results from the fact that recently completed EURO 2012, which conferred an even greater popularity of the sport among children and adolescents.3) Increase of knowledge and awareness of fair play, tolerance and respect as our core values.4) Integration of partners local communities.The objectives to be achieved through the implementation of a series of meetings, training and conferences provided for clubs and institutions to build lasting partnerships between Polish, Lithuanias and Danish. In addition, there will be 3 smaller international football tournaments (1 in Gdansk 1 in Plunge and 1 in Roskilde or Bornholm). During the tournament will also be a workshop on training of UEFA Respect Programme, which aims at raising the awareness and the fight against racism, homophobia and destructive behavior on the pitch and in the stands as a fan or parent. In any event will be attended by 4 teams recruited by the domestic qualifying competition based on knowledge of the partner countries, collective work on tolerance and understanding of the English language. Key and long-term action is to build an active community portal. Portal, the database will include 50 known Polish, Lithuanian and Danish players who will sign a real diplomas for users who login to the complete programme of physical activity "3x3x30". Portal will determine the need to participate in training min.30 minutes 3 times per week for min. 3 months what the user will be gradually marked by the portal. After completing the program the participant will receive a real diploma signed by his sporting idol. The truth of participation in activities will have to be confirmed by the teacher trainer at the club, and so what that checks the address. The programme "3x3x30" will use the assumptions of loyalty programme. Longer the participant is physically active more valuable award he can receive. The official ceremony will be held diplomas in tournaments under the project. After gaining a diploma participant can take part in collecting the following awards, which uses the natural compassion to collect a variety of attributes and at the same time motivates physical activity. Another activity will be the organization of three workshops coaching programme devoted to the UEFA Respect and mental development of children and youth. Achievements: On 19-21 November 2013 the second meeting of partners in Plunge, Lithuania was organized. Subjects discussed during the meeting: analysis of the RESPECT BALTICUM tournament in Gdansk for the implementation of the next editions of the tournament.; planning of a detailed action plan for the project in 2014; development of a common visual identity; ways of disseminattion and promotion of the project among different target groups; planning of promotional activities related to recruitment for the next football tournaments in the project; a website design and project profile on Facebook. implementation of the project website - functional testing of all functions and their correction. The finished website developed in 4 languages ​​and trained each of the project partners in their functioning . On 18-19 September 2013 an international football tournament was organised in Gdansk by PP1.16 teams in three age groups from three countries: Poland, Denmark, Lithuania took part in competition. As part of the tournament young football players participated in educational attractions prepared by a team of Joint Technical Secretariat of the South Baltic Cross-border Cooperation in the Science and Technology Park in Gdansk. The tournament was a part of an international celebration of "European Cooperation Day ". In the tournament were also conducted workshops on tolerance in different age groups. Participants from abroad also had the opportunity to visit Gdańsk and the football stadium PGE Arena.The second footbal tournament was organised by PP3 in Plunge on 30.04-02.05.2014. During the tournament we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the accession of new countries to EU. Altogether 16 teams from 3 age groups took part in the games. Workshops for coaches and players was organised. The participants had the possibility to see Plunge Region where the tournament was organised. The project brochure and project poster have been created. Young football players started to log in and use the project website. The 3rd project meeting took place in Roskilde on 9-11th June 2014.The third and last football tournament was organized by PP2 in Roskilde on 16-18.09.2014. 16 teams took part in the competition. Additional activities were connected with sightseeing in Roskilde and visiting Tivoli Garden in Copenhagen. The international conference of sports marketing was organized by PP1 in Gdańsk on 09-10.10.2014. In a result of the 5th mini call for proposals the project is prolonged until 30.04.2015. During the prolongation it is envisaged to plan future cooperation after finish of the project. Young football players who finished the loyalty programme have received sports gadgets and diplomas from their football stars .
