Youth exchange "Sport 2Gether" will be held in Kaunas, Lithuania from 15th till 23th of October. It will gather 36 participants from both EU and Non EU countries- Italy, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey and Lithuania, where more than a half of the participants will come from the rural area, facing either some or all of the following obstacles: geographical, economic and/or social. Facing the challenges of modern society and having youngsters spending their time more indoor, living virtual lives, Sport 2Gether" aims to stress the importance of development and implementation of the healthy life styles in everyone’s life. Therefore we want to get participants familiar with the fact that sport and outdoor activities makes a significant contribution to our well-being; in the same time playing an important role in a development of one’s personality, generally influencing the whole society. youth exchange, will bring participants closer to improvement of their everyday life, especially when it comes to their life style, together with personal and professional development and a better recognition of competences gained through experiences abroad (through Youthpass). In order to provide successful implementation of the project and participants satisfaction, including their development and improvement, project will include activities that encourage leadership, team work and cooperation. Combining different non-formal and in-formal learning methods with fun, enjoyment and physical challenges, we want to encourage young people to implement sport and outdoor activities in their everyday lives. Moreover, youth exchange "Sport 2Gether" is also linked to the objectives of the Erasmus plus program , such as promoting active citizenship, social inclusion and solidarity, building international connections and a sense of European citizenship and identity, especially having participants from EU and neighboring countries.
