The aim of our project is to use courses offered by Erasmus+ for improving language skills of our teachers at primary and lower-secondary school and for increasing their professional expertise. Within the future strategy of the school we would like to extend teaching English from the 1st grade, to implement CLIL method especially in the subject of Drama at primary level and to use student diversity benefiting social diversity at lower-secondary level better. That includes using CLIM method and equality and inclusion of all pupils. Thus we will be able to follow in the alternative method "Začít spolu" that is now taught at primary level. Seven interested participants are teachers of primary and lower-secondary level of our school. They all are graduates in different fields of study - Mathematics, ICT, History, English, Russian and teaching at primary schools. Teachers at primary level are interested in further development of their language skills and application of CLIL method so that they will able to teach English continuously and in a qualified way from 1st grade and to teach other subjects in English. These days the primary school uses just two English teachers with B1 certificate (according to CEFR) actively. After the extension of English language teaching from 1st grades the need of teachers will double. Lower-secondary teachers would like to gain necessary experience in following in the method "Začít spolu" and to use the experience with the courses in participating in other European projects (Safety Label). Erasmus+ is a chance for us to accomplish our needs and to meet constantly growing parents and pupils´ demands. Attended courses will positively influence professional and personal development of individual participants as well as cooperation among them. They will improve their language skills, make important contacts for future cooperation and partnerships and they will receive information about educational methods and systems in various European countries. They will also improve their knowledge in the field of methodology, they will integrate newly acquired knowledge (especially methods of CLIM and CLIL) into their own teaching and so, they will positively motivate their pupils.
