Start date: Oct 15, 2014, End date: Oct 14, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

In the registry of the Secondary Business School, Kolín IV, Havlíčkova 42 there are two fields of secondary education with diploma (in three forms of study) and three fields of secondary education with vocational certificate. These disciplines, among others, include branches of education „66-51-H/01 - Shop assistant“ and „29-53-H/01 - Baker“. The project focuses on students from these two branches of education. Eight students (under the supervision of two pedagogical staff) will attend a two-week traineeship at the practical training workplace of partner Secondary School of Trade and Services, Športová 1, Rimavská Sobota, Slovakia. Education of students from these disciplines includes vocational training which takes place at school workplaces of practical training. The project aims to enable students to get a broader vocational training in different commercial operation, to acquire new knowledge, skills and habits in working in a foreign environment, and learn principles of commercial organizations and free market in conditions of workplaces in Rimavská Sobota. Students will improve in the sale of specific goods, in arranging and decorating skills, baking skills and advertising and management skills. Besides the vocational knowledge students will improve their communication in Slovak language, identify a new region and make new contacts. After the end of the traineeship, participants will receive a certificate of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, and validated Europass-Mobility requested by the sending school at the National Institute of Education. This project's purpose except the deepening of the knowledge and skills of students is also to strengthen the cooperation with the Slovak Secondary School of Trade and Services, which began in 2003. We develop our mutual cooperation in increasingly higher level. At the beginning there were cognitive exchanges, than competitions of knowledge and skills held annually by both schools (with the participation of Visegrad Four students since 2008) and the traineeship held in 2010, which was very positively evaluated by all represented parties. Through the traineeship we want to allow other students to enhance the quality of training and help them to find a good position in the labor market after graduation.
