The project titled: "Specialization and entrepreneurship during the professional development of the future workers of the beauty industry" started from the results of the internal and the external factors which were the base of elaborating the 2012-2016 PAS, and it implies an increased demand in workforce in the beauty industry domains from the Olt county, therefore, according to the County Register of Commerce, the initiatives related to the beauty salons, with increasingly diversified services: hairdo, massage, makeup, tanning, manicure etc, have become more plentiful and ,therefore, generate a need of specialized human resources. To be competitive on the job market, the school must direct its professional development of the youth according to the new demands so that, at the graduation, the students are offered the possibility of easily getting a job in the domain they have prepared for. As such, our students need complex training which must include contact with a real job environment, organized after the demands of the European standards, with specialized personnel, hairdressers and stylists whose professional abilities are confirmed by the fiscal value of the salons they work in, as well as participating in competitions and courses to be aware of the ever-changing fashion trends.This can be achieved by using the opportunities generated by the Erasmus+ program and by creating a development movement in firms and private companies from the European space- beauty salons from Spain and Portugal- the partner organizations are: the internship firms -Cabeleireira Paula Vieira,ROSA CABELEIREIRO,SUSANA GONÇALO,TERESA COSTA CABELEIREIROS, from Barcelos and PELUQUERÍA Y BELLEZA ALGAR Peluquería Colors Peluqueros from Granada- and the intermediate organizations -MEP Europroject Granada si Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade.The target group of the project is composed of 32 students from eleventh and twelfth grade from the Economics College: P.S. Aurelian Slatina, level 4, technological branch, services profile, Aesthetics and hygiene of the human body specialization, hairdresser-stylist qualification.The objectives of the project are:01- Supporting the participants for the improving of their professional skills, by achieving work experience in an European work environment connected with their training domain;02- Improving of the personal skills, communication and workplace cooperation skills, cultural skills and enlarging the cultural horizon with the purpose of increasing the level of adapting at a workplace and adapting to the life in another country;03- Developing the entrepreneurship abilities with the purpose of initiating micro-businesses in the domain of aesthetics and hygiene of the body;04- Consolidating the partnership relationship, which allows further contacts, The movement takes 3 weeks, separated in two streams: 20 participants in Portugal (5 for each internship firm) and 12 participants in Spain (6 for each firm), it coincides with the approved education plans- Annex no. 2 at OMEdC no.3172/30.01.2006 - qualification hairdresser-stylist.The content which will be went through during the 3 weeks period of the movement will approach practical activities- For the eleventh grade: 1. Hair curling with water2. Permanent curling3. Conceiving haircuts with a certain thematicAnd for the twelfth grade:1. Creating the profile of the client2. Fusing hair curling techniques for obtaining the haircut3. Adapting the haircut to the environment in which it'll be wornThe movement becomes part of the professional development provided by the school. As all the skills comprised in the SPPs of these UCs- ”Adapting work to customers” UC 14 and Hairdressing UC 22 - are developed during the movement, the school will support the specialization of the skills developed.Immediate results:1. The increase of aprox. 30% of the knowledge, skills and professional abilities obtained by the 26 participants, specific to their chosen profession of hairdresser-stylist - as through the stage, the students will go through 90 hours from the 300 belonging to the "Specializtion culture, practical training and internship stages."2. The improving of the foreign language communication skills, cultural, behavioral and teamwork skills in a international context.3. Developing entrepreneurship abilities- proved by making a theoretical project of a hairdressing salon under the shape of a practice firm.On a medium term:-The increase of the insertion degree on the job market at a local, regional, national and european level for the graduates. -Increase the fame of the school-Applications for new Erasmus+ projects-New private initiatives in the local beauty industry.
