The main activities of the project are :- developing a common methodology for updating development plans of both partners;- carrying out actual update on Vidzeme Development Plan and Pechory District Development Plan;- training of planning specialists of Administration of Pechory District through the use of seminars led by the specialists from the Vidzeme development agency.In the process of updating the Pechory district development plan the planning work will be combined with training making it moreeffective. External experts will be hired to assist the Administration of the Pechory district update the development plan. As a result of the project it is planned to produce the following main outputs:1) methodology for update of regional and district development strategy; 2) updated Vidzeme Development Strategy; 3) updated Pechory district development strategy; 4) recommendations for update and further development of Pskov-Livonia Vision 2010; 5) 3 councelling sessions for development specialists held 6) four 2-days training sessions on urban and spatial planning held (25 specialists from Pechory district trained) 7) general plan for Pechory city developed.
