Spare time project will implement a series of cultural collaborations which will present artworks, artistic expressions and movements starting in the 20th century and conceivably extending into the 21st century, as well as the influence of spare time movements on the present times and the possible emergence in the near future. The project aims at bringing together young artists, critics, professionals from 4 countries to create the exhibitions of local movements in the field of literature, art, music, sport etc., which could be locally modified depending on its venues and which would explore the external attributes of those movements, the reasons for their emergence and equating with the mainstream trends of the past as well as with the social developments of the present time.In each country there is a national coordinator who is responsible for the local management of national preparatory research working group. Each working group will then work remotely preparing the own art concept of the project. There will be a big exhibition in the National Gallery in Prague bringing all the art groups together to present particular national art exhibitions. Young artists will work on spare time activities for pupils (14-18 age), who will be involved in workshops held during exhibitions span. Artists will travel to all local workshops in order to present and involve local pupils into national spare time concept/activities of own country. The partners will also take part in the press conference as a part of the evaluation of the final exhibition with critics and professionals from all fields of project research. This conference will enable a dialogue of young artists as well as wide public with renounced critics of art who so far were not involved in the project.
