Spanish Teacher Training Course

We believe this project to be a great opportunity for both our teachers and in turn, their pupils. By having the opportunity to further their language skills, by spending time in Spain, our teachers will be able to share their knowledge of the language and culture to encourage and engage our students in language learning. Our two participants are both Newly Qualified Teachers who are looking to develop their teaching and learning skills, as well as to further their subject knowledge of their second foreign language. They will take part in teacher training sessions with peers from schools across Europe, in addition to cultural activities that will help to inspire and motivate pupils by bringing authenticity into the classroom. In the longer term, this will not only help to improve the quality of the Spanish, but it will also help our teachers to teach confidently across the full curriculum, including GCSE and A-level.
