Objectives:Deepening collaboration between economic actors so that the basic economic activity of rural population – food production – could be able to respond to competitive challenges, adapt to the requirements of the Single Market. Promoting cooperation between SMEs in agribusiness in the region through functional expansion of the existing networks in Southern Great Plain and Vojvodina.Creating technical and intellectual background for network cooperation.Due to the integrated approach our project is very effective and creates a sustainable cross-border structure. Key element of its efficiency is that partners base on their already existing activities, established cooperation, and the material requirements and personnel necessary for maintaining the network, the project's central element, are available.Main activities:Development of an e-marketplace and a databaseTraining on database usageTraining for network managersPreparation of the supplier's manualTrainings for entrepreneursConferencesInformative activities serving the publicProject managementThe network will promote food industry and trade in both regions and help the economical exploitation of existing resources. By developing this area we impact positively the surrounding markets too. The network is designed to unite and strengthen the direct target group, to make them more flexible in responding to global market challenges. Achievements: An an Internet based e-marketplace was created and users were loaded andregistred. It will enable the users tooffer their products or choose among offers, or send request for products. Events and forums were organized in 54settlements in Vojvodina where projectresults were presented, especially the emarketplace. A two-days seminar was organized in Mórahalom on 08-09/06/2011and 31 entrepreneurs took part.It was a presentation on food sectorsituation, rural development possibilities, and customs regulations. A two-days seminar was organized in Kelebija and 25 entrepreneurs took part. It was a presentation on busines cooperationand investments possibilities.
