The project "SOLVING THE PROBLEMS BY ASKING QUESTIONS - improving the methodological skills of teachers in the implementation of the elements of education-based learning question (Inquiry-Based Learning)" was prepared by the group of teachers of the School of General Education in Sucha Beskidzka. It performed the basic task stored in the strategic development plan of the school, which is to improve vocational education skills of staff. The world, which develops very rapidly, obliges to explore new educational paths, to facilitate the training of graduates who will be prepared to live in a changing world. This will enable the students to do a better start in the labor market and to achieve professional successes. The main objectives of the project are raising the teachers quality through professional development and introduction of new forms and methods of work with students (acquisition of knowledge and skills in methods IBL), enrichment of school education (to write curriculum of activities using this method and the implementation of these activities permanently to organizational design school) as well the development of educational staff mobility, improvement their language skills and promoting the concept of learning throughout life. In the project took part 10 teachers from ZSO in Sucha Beskidzka. During the recruitment process were taken into account by the teachers documented their involvement in the implementation of projects in the field of training and other activities which enrich the educational offer of the school, the implementation of interesting teaching methods, and the ability to share knowledge and experience and work in a team and skills of speaking a foreign language in the range of communicative. The project implementation process was divided into three stages. The first stage was substantive, linguistic and cultural preparation of participants and the execution of all the organizational and logistical activities related to the realisation of the project. For participants was organized forms of improvement in the field of activating teaching methods (exchange of experience, methodological workshops) and connected with the curriculum writing (elements of the educational law regarding curriculum and procedures for implementation). Cultural preparation was realized by participants through using the available sources. The second step is a week-long trip to Portugal and the realization of the training which was done by NUCLIO - the organization, which dedicated to promoting modern teaching methods and creating the conditions for the international exchange of teachers experiences. The third stage was realised in Poland. It included the writing of the curriculum of program of classes using the IBL and the introduction it to organizational design of school for permanent, evaluation of project activities, dissemination of results and preparation of the final report. The whole course of implementation was monitored and evaluated on an ongoing basis based on the findings of surveys, analysis, documentation and interviews with the participants. The offer of classes using IBL, which was introduced to the school organization plan for permanent, it is a long-term effect of the project. Implementation of the project is also increased the professional competence of teachers, which translates to raise the level of quality of school work. Experiences which are gained by participants through the implementation of the project also cause their personal development. Dissemination of results and outcomes of the project interacts for the direct and indirect participants in the project, high school students and their parents, educational staff and boards of other schools. This is also the promotion of the schools in the local environment. Curriculum of classes using IBL is available on the website and is able to be used by other schools. Participants created the offer to do trainings of IBL method for others teachers. Information about the project and its effects are useful for the planning similar projects and are a great promotion of the idea of lifelong life.
