THE SOCIAL ECONOMY ON MARKET TERMS is the heading we have given this application for mobilities towards a study visit to GUREAK in the north of Spain. From them we expect to get experience and new ideas how to create regular job-openings to persons with limited abilities. The Danish Government and local have much focus on the social economic sector as a room for jobs to individuals who have reduced ability to work. FO-AARHUS is a major social-economic actor and we always look for ways to get even better results in supporting marginalised citizens to find job. In Denmark these citizens are mostly early retirees and disability pensioners getting jobs with wage subsidy. In Spain they do not have a similar culture of subsidies and consequently GUEREAK are targeted on finding ordinary jobs for people with limited capacity; something we want to learn from. We intend to visit GUREAK in the spring of 2016 with a delegation of 10 comprising 2 company leaders + 2 counsellors/mentors + 1 representative of the Aarhus Municipality Social Services + 2 from the staff of social economic enterprises on our premises (canteen and graphic services) + 2 teachers + 1 international coordinator who is responsible for all practical arrangements in cooperation with the receiving organisation. The common intention of the two partners is to accomplish a programme of mutual visits and the Spanish partner submits its own application for for mobilities to visit Denmark in the autumn of 2015. GUREAK is much interested in studying our approaches to adult education providing teaching targeted at the complete person providing personal development as well as skills to open doors to the jobmarket. We will prepare a week-programme for the Spanish delegation to visit institutions and living quarters with workshops for people with limited abilities. Sending or receiving both parties shall follow the guidelines of the Erasmus+ Mobility Quality Commitment. At FO-AARHUS we expect this visiting programme to - Future-proof our competencies as a social-economic enterprise - Strengthen our profile as a highly qualified actor of the Danish social economic sector by way of getting international experience and take inspiration from it to particularly find ordinary but tailored job-openings to citizens with reduced abilities.
