The Lisbon European Council (2000) recognized two major developments radically transforming our economy and society the first is the globalization of the economy and the second is the growing importance of information and communication technologies (ICTs).These changes affect all aspects of social and business reality so the today's traveler profile has changed and applies methods for identification and selection of tourist destinations and accommodation provided to him directly at anytime and cheaper through the Social media. The Federation took into account these new data through its members who are professionals and HR managers of tourist accommodations and chose the program «Social Media Marketing in small tourist enterprises" to acquire expertise and transfer of good practices in their businesses. The program aims to prepare participants with the necessary skills to be able to develop and manage effective marketing campaigns in social media and search engines. This program has as its main purpose to fill the gap in the training of tourism professionals - offering the opportunity to acquire the appropriate organizational, interpersonal, communication and management skills to undertake and successfully run campaigns on social media and search engines to successfully manage their websites.The role of social networking in tourism entrepreneurship and the use of social networking tools - the network of Google Adwords, the Facebook Ads, the video ads on YouTube and other video networks, the Affiliate Marketing and other advertising channels like paid posts , paid links, ad blog platforms as cooperation; connecting businesses with the world in different ways. So these tools:• They bring technology into contact with business.• They connect people with information.• Establish potential new routes to market and• Improve communication with customers and dissemination of Trademark. EXPECTED RESULTS and key objectives of the proposal are educating and retraining staff, able to cope with the current market requirements, so that after completion of the program:1. Improve the competitiveness of their enterprises,2. Upgrade viewing mode of service,3. Avail newly acquired knowledge and skills to benefit their businesses and themselves,4. Increase their productivity,5. Implement modern techniques and methods used by companies in international markets in general.The implementation of the project will follow all training methods and adult education placements in companies in the sector in order to provide the best possible results.The host organization Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade chosen for the implementation of the program has great experience / activity regarding the tourism sector and more specifically the promotion via social media and on the other hand has implemented several adult education mobility programs. Also the choice of country is not accidental because the tourism sector is highly developed. The program will be implemented in the first quarter of 2017 with the participation of 30 (15 per flows) human resources managers in the tourism sector, members of the Federation.
