Smart School Managers It is the policy of Hraunvallaskóli to be active in international cooperation and through the years employees have been encouraged to seek knowledge abroad. Cooperation with foreign parties is like a high vitamin injection for the staff and the school work. Therefore the management of the school are as many employees keen for foreign partnerships with the aim of enhancing their own skills and the school work in general. The goal of the project Smart School Managers is to promote the professional development of the school administration. Empower them as individuals and team, by enhancing management skills in the following areas: a) Human Resource Management b ) Presentation and negotiation skills c ) English for educators and administrative Increasing personal management skills in the above factors will help the school managers to lead the school work forward. It will strengthen foreign partnership that has been so rewarding over the years. Courses abroad gives managers also a chance to search for collaborative partnership between Hraunvallaskóli and Europe in the near future.
