SMEs' Internationalisation in the Cross-border Region (SMEINT)
Start date: Dec 31, 2011, End date: Jun 29, 2013 PROJECT  FINISHED 

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: to develop the Hungarian and Serbian enterprises involved in the project by knowledge transfer and by increasing the number of cross-border business contacts. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: 1.Sharing best practices and developing management skills of Hungarian and Serbian SMEs. 2. To boost internationalisation of HU and SRB SMEs with facilitating the establishment of new business contacts between firms. DURATION: 18 month. LOCATION: Szeged, Csongrád County; Subotica, North-Backa Region. TARGET GROUPS: Direct target group: SMEs of Szeged and Csongrád county; SMEs of Subotica and North Backa region. Indirect target group of the project: entrepreneurs of South Great Plain region in Hungary and Vojvodina in Serbia.MAIN ACTIVITIES: 1. Organizing interactive workshops, seminars, training, B2B bokerage event, preparing companies' database; 2. Entrepreneurial survey and study; 3.Promotion, dissemination of project activities and results on both side of the border. Achievements: Two Coaching Seminars were held and attended by both Hungarian and Serbian participants. Lectures were about the basics of coaching method, basic skills, and the tools of effective coaching,its methodology, and the Hungarian best practices on coaching were also presented.
