The project "Slow Life", is an international exchange of 2x14 adolescents (between 15-18 years) from Belgium and Austria, led by 3 youth workers.The aim of the exchange is to enable the stricken stress youth to live a conscious life in our digital and fast-paced World. The participants will temporary do without their mobile phone. To communicate with each other, experience things in nature and talk about their experiences will be the main focus of this project.The origin of these young people are from different family, social, cultural and economic backgrounds.During their 8 day stay these young people will be divided in 3 subgroups, where they are alternately responsible for cooking, for the activities of the next day and for the reportage. Independence and responsibility, exchange and the nightly joint evaluation will promote and empower of young people.The project will be concluded with a barbecue to which all co-responsible authorities (local authority, VoG, Jugendbüro press, ...) will be invited.Ahead of the stay, the young people will be acquainted with the aid of digital media, and if the project suceeds a return visit in the partner country Austria is targeted.In addition, all participants will receive a "Youthpass" as certificate of attendance.
