Šiuolaikinis mechatronikas-inovatyvioji praktika Europoje
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jul 1, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The recovery of country agriculture economy had a positive influence to the development of all agriculture branches, especially to the growth of industry. In these latter years the country economy grew up rapidly, more and more companies started to build up in the engineering section. This determined the biggest market of the qualified employees (at this moment most wanted are the mechanical equipment repairers, mechatronics, welders, smiths, operators of the equipment, etc.). The companies of the engineering industry sector indicated, that it is especially important to qualify specialists who would have possibilities to do the internship in real conditions in order to do not require a long-term investment in a new employee. However at this moment the engineering range confronts with two main problems – rapid implementation of the innovative technology and insufficient competence of engineers in all levels together with shortage of qualified specialists. So the training of the qualified specialists is named as a problem which has to be analyzed and properly solved, considering the requirements of the industry companies. For this purpose the Center is pursuing the structural support project “The engineering industry sectorial practical training center creation“, which is intended for the metal, production of the metal products and mechatronic sectorial training center creation in the base of the Center. It is planned that this sectorial practical training center will be able to supply work market requirements, qualifying high qualification specialists and organizing possibility to improve practical skills for the students of other education institutions. As the sphere of modern technology engineering industry in Lithuania is fairly new, the project “Contemporary mechatronics – innovative practice in Europe” will go with the engineering specialties students’ practical skills development in Europe industry companies, which have long term experience. The aims of the project: 1. The practical skills development of the engineering specialties students while working with the newest equipment in Europe industry companies. 2. The students’ professional motivation encouragement adapting own practical skills in real work places. 3. To get in a partnership with Europe industry companies in order to continue and develop international project – based activity. While doing apprenticeship in foreign companies students will be able to: 1. Adapt the abilities they have in real work places. 2. Deepen and improve the knowledge of specialty foreign language while communicating. 3. Get to know with technologies, equipment and mechanisms which are used in Europe companies and to compare them with Lithuanian market. 4. To gain international experience while working with the newest technologies. The Lithuanian partners of the project have been chosen under the range of the professional training programmers that are on the stock – engineering industry. Together with Vilnius technology and business professional training center in the project will participate Alytus professional training center, public company Panevėžys professional training center and Visaginas technology and business professional training center. Foreign partners have been chosen under the most developed economical sector. The Germany industry deposit to the country economic activity make even 37 per., Spain manufacturing sector gets more than 12 per. of Spain gross domestic product (GDP). The situation of both countries guarantees that they are able to provide the students practical skills in real work places. 12 students of initial professional training engineering industry sector will participate in the project. The objective group is made of automatic system exploitation mechatronics, metal manufacturing machinist, industry equipment repairer, industry mechanic, and the adjuster of buildings engineering equipment students etc., whose main requirement is to improve own practical skills working with the newest equipment in real work places during the apprenticeship. It is planned to make 2 three weeks apprenticeships in Germany and Spain (6 students will participate in each apprenticeship). Students will be accompanied by the attendant teachers during the apprenticeship.
