Our age is the age of information. Nowadays the development and the idea of capturing the most important requirements in an efficient manner with the use of information technology has become inevitable.Information technology is one of the most important and indispensable dimension of the school. Because of the technology new learning and teaching opportunities is presented which isn’t previously possible.
In a technology-rich learning environment, dynamic and interactive learning experiences are provided for teachers and students.Teachers can be more familiar with students' individual learning styles, personal interests and achievements strategies. Students also find opportunity to explore their personal interests and skills and develop vital as their accessing and generating information and sharing with others.
The purpose of computers and related technology is not to take place of teachers. Technology is a helpful tool for more efficient and productive school and to create effective solutions that are encountered the obstacles by creating this school.For the effective use of technology in schools, teachers and especially the school administrator shave to be trained who will lead the technology.Inavailable training manager programmes it can’t be said that the training manager has been gained technological competences alongside the traditional qualifications. In this regard, the EU-funded education and training about the use of technology in schools more effectively to make the effort seems inevitable. It can be said that most of the teachers and especially the school administrators aren’t sufficient enough on education of using technology effectively.The use of technology in schools and school management and leadership in this technology and the basic of knowledge and skills of the education managers of whom will lead to this technology, will tried to be evaluated with in a conceptual frame work especially taking into account the studies in EU countries.
Especially in the fields of information technology project that deals with dizzying progress rapidly continues. Therefore, a school education staff who cannot follow the developments and renew itself continiously is inevitable to practice the profession after a period of time.We aim to gain to teachers and administrative staff the in formation and experience that will judge to their jobs and they can use the information technology in the classrooms and offices effectively in their fields not to leg behind the technology and to follow the developments by this project. Project participants with the help of international mobility both will ensure that permanent by increasing their professional development and will have a broader perspective as well as recognizing the different cultures and will increase their self-confidence.This project that we offered includes a total of 24 staffs who works as administrative personel in our school and common institution and the teachers who needs intensive use of information technology by the aim of effective and efficient use of information technology in schools.The mobility of Project will take place in high schools and equivalent schools in Portugal,İtaly and Hungary in January-February 2016.
