"Siberia 2009" is a individual EVS project whose the aim consists in helping and taking care of street children in a centre in Angarsk in Southern Siberia. The centre will host a French volunteer, Anne-Lise Mouchel, during 2 months from the 07/08/2009 to the 07/10/2009. In August, she will propose to children and young people from the local community different kinds of outdoors activities, such as games, workshops, trips, leasure and sports. In September, she will help the team of permanent volunteers to take care of the disavantaged children in the centre. She will also help the pupils of the local community with their homeworks. Beyond the benefit for the children and the local community, Anne-Lise will have the opportunity to acquire new social and linguistic skills and competencies in youth work and to discover new cultures, which will be very useful for her personal and professional development.
