"Show your skills" is a European youth exchange under the Erasmus+:youth in action programme framework, hosted by the Croatian NGO "Association of deaf and hard of hearing" Nova Gradiska. It will last 8 months, including 7 days of activities with youngsters from different countries, coming from International NGOs all over European Union. Since youth unemployment is the main issue that European Union is now facing, this project aims to develop skills and competences, helping young people to find their potential and talent in order to raise their employability. All the participants will have the chance to participate to a mobility project, sharing about the situations in their own countries related to unemployment, with a positive approach which will allow them to find and express solutions. Moreover they will share and learn by doing all the innovative tools used to promote themselves on the labour market and which will hel help them in job finding, such as video CV and LinkedIn page. The project involves participants from European Union Countries: Italy, Croatia, Romania, Spain and Turkey as a programm country. which will be supported by facilitators and group leaders and a friendly staff of the hosting organization in order to identify the needs of the labor market and empower young people for a better future in the society in order to deal with troubles related to youth unemployment in Europe. The project explores non-formal education methods, social media tools, creativity and acquirement of skills and competences, to support participants in self-reflection and empowerment, enhancing their learning process and make them actively involved in the activities, starting from information and online platform till the meeting days which will include a wide range of activities such as group work, presentations, brainstorming, performance, workshops and personal assignments in order to provide space to reflect on their own barriers and strengths, share ideas, opinions, knowledge and talent, in order to show that they are not the "lost generation". Participants will have the chance to share their experiences, to debate and plan together, discovering the similarities of the issues in all the countries and looking for possible strategies for a more sustainable inclusion of the unemployed young people and fewer opportunities ones; they will work on simulations, lead and be leaded by each other, acting in a comfortable environment that will facilitate their intercultualcultural learning through creativivity and non-formal methods which will be implemented according to the needs of the participants and youth organizations involved. Therefore, it's a great opportunity to promote Erasmus+:Youth in Action programme in our communities, giving chances to youngster to travel, discover, learn and empower themselves for a personal, social and professional growth.
