Project Sharing the strength aims on creating learning opportunity abroad for members of the office and team of trainers of Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Czech Republic which are: training course, training event and job shadowing. Project answers the need of our organization to open for European cooperation with partners from abroad in order to gain inspiration and good practices with particular focus on community based volunteering involving adults and seniors. Training course (lasting 5 working days) will take place in July 2014 in United Kingdom, and it will aim to train trainers multipliers on training methods and approaches, participants will learn project cycle, importance of needs analysis, process of setting up learning aims and possible outcomes, principles of feedback. 3 trainers from our trainers team will take part in it, and later on as multipliers they will used new gained skills and competences in their work with our target groups (in particular trainings for leaders – adult learners. Training event (lasting 3 working days) will take place in September 2014 as well in United Kingdom, and it will aim to share good practices, inspirations, methods and approaches connected to non formal education. 2 members of our core team will take part in this event and they will further on use learned good practices to improve overall management of organization as well as to improve quality of work with our target groups. Last mobility is a job shadowing planned for March 2015, when during 7 working days of a job shadowing our core team member will have a chance to get to know in details working methods and approaches of our German partner, through observations, discussions, consultations, once again with particular focus on volunteering activities. All mobilities will meaningfully increase professional competences of our team members and close coworkers (trainers), and in the same time will raise quality of our work as organization. We will learn good practices, new methodologies, educational approaches which will raise quality of our work, and in this way they will have direct impact on our target groups. Mobilities will as well raise motivation and commitment of our staff. We believe that in long term perspective this project will be the first step towards building strong network among European partners who can meaningfully contribute to quality of their work. Dissemination and visibility of project will be assured through dissemination activities on national level (eg. trainings prepared by trainers), and on international level mainly among our partner organisations from Central Europe. Process of sharing project results assured both through direct meetings (planned within possible strategic partnership project), as well as through ICTs (regular skype meetings which we already have). Information about project and its outcomes will be as well shared through or website and facebook page, as well as through social media and website used by our partner organisations. We will as well share info about project through our newsletter (both in Czech and English), and this way we will motivate others to use European mobilities as meaningful opportunity for personal development and development of their organisations.
