The project proposal entitled "Quality services through the acquisition of key competences in the European context" is an initiative of the National Economic College "Gheorghe Chitu" in Craiova in the context of Erasmus +, KA1, VET, 02.02.16 deadline.The project objectives are:- Training and developing professional skills and abilities for the 87 participants in the qualifications: Technician in economic activities (12 participants), Technician in administration (12 participants), Technician in trade activities (15 participants), Technician in tourism (12 participants ), Technician in gastronomy (12 participants) Banqueting organizer (24 participants), level 3 of qualification, according to the standards imposed on the EU labor market;- Encouraging the learning of modern languages, improving communication skills in German language level - A2, respectively A2 - level Spanish, Italian A2 level and English B1 level;- Develoinping IT and computer work skills for activities in the qualifications: Technician in economic activities, Technician Administration, Technician in tourism;- Improving the participants’ social skills and abilities, lifelong training of participant behavior based on respect, balance, tolerance and communication.The project target group consists of 87 high school students, direct route, daily courses, Xith form in 2016-2017 school year, technological field, profile services, level 3 of qualification. Under the guidance and coordination of the internship tutors, the participants will perform three weeks of practical training in companies from Europe, carrying out practical work corresponding to the qualifications included in the framework plans in Romania, as follows:Flow I: From March 6 to 24, 2017, 12 students in the qualification -Technician in tourism- will run appropriate practical activities corresponding to the module: Technical Operations of the travel agency, 90 hours,i n Milan, Italy, at the Standard Travel company; Flux II: Between 13 to 31 March, 12 students from the qualification -Technician in economic activities- will run practical activities corresponding to the module Payment Instrument, 90 hours, in Barcelos, Portugal, the firms RQ Gabinete de Contabilidade and Combarcel-Contabilidade de Barcelos Lda;Flow III: Between 10 to 28 April 2017, 12 students from the qualification: Administrative Technician will run practical activities corresponding to the module VII - Correspondence in Administration and Secretary, 90 hours, in Leipzig-Schkeuditz, Germany, in the company Vitalis GmbH;Flow IV: From 8 to 26 May 2017, 15 students in the qualification –Technician in trade activities- will run practical activities corresponding to Module VII - Consumer and environment protection, 90 hours, in Granada, Spain, in the companies Industrias Carnicas Zurita S.A. and Autoservicio Matilde;Flow V: From 5 to 23 June 2017, 12 students from the qualification - Technician in gastronomy - will run appropriate practical activities correspondind to modules: VI - National and International Cuisine -60 hours and module V - Hygiene, Labor Safety and Environment Protection, 30 hours, in Paphos, Cyprus, at St. George Hotel Enterprises;Flow VI: From 5 to 23 June 2017, 12 students from the qualification -Banqueting Organizer- will run practical activities corresponding to the module Meniu Offer, during 90 hours in Paphos, Cyprus, at Costas & Nikolas PAPACOSTEA firm;Flow VII: Between 5-23 June 2017, 12 students from the qualification -Banqueting Organizer- will run practical activities corresponding to the module Meniu Offer, during 90 hours in in Florence, Italy, tn the firm Montecarlo Spa Property.The expected results are:- Making the project web page;- Making a DVD / flow aspects of the project stages;- Making an album with gourmet products made by participants from Cyprus;-Making a 2018calendar using project information for participants from Italy, Portugal, Germany and Granada;- Certificates of recognition of skills, knowledge and abilities- Cultural awareness of the project participants;- Keeping relationships with the existing partners.In the long term, the project will have benefits such as:- Improving the quality of work in services, in the qualifications: Technician in economic activities, Technician in Administration, Technician in trade activities, Technician in turism, Technician in gastronomy and Banqueting Organizer, at national and international level;- The transparency and recognition of these qualifications by diversifying the instruments for equivalence and transfer of competences and skills acquired in an international context to our national educational system;- The encouragement of international modern languages learning: Portuguese, Italian, English, German, Spanish, learning at least at the level of a rich specialized vocabulary for effective communication within the profession.
