The Group of Schools consists of six schools kindergarden through secondary), with 1885 students, 157 teachers, 14 administrative staff and 59 educational action aids. The students belong to a lower middle class, where 35,1% of students receive economic support.Next to the schools still lies the Reception Centre for Refugees, and that it's why there are students of different nationalities (28 in total) in the various schools and a large multicultural classrooms. It hosts a large majority of pupils with special educational needs,142 students, being based at one school a Support Unit for Multidisabled students (6 to 14 years).Resulting from this reality, the Group of Schools as outlined improvement actions: reduce school failure of students (about 33% in upslope to secondary school), increasing the position in the regional ranking; improve inclusion and integration of students from thelocal community and pupils with special educational needs; promote and enhance dialogue, exchange of ideas and collaborative work among peers (peer coaching).With this project we intend to enhance the professional development of the Group of Schools staff, to streamline and evaluate a Center for Teaching and Learning (CAP) which will have the following objectives: innovative pedagogical practices through synergies of different educational and European social contexts; improve the quality of education in our schools, including the size of know-how and European best practices; increase school success in coordination between study cycles; implement and test new learning environments and digital collaboration among peers.To reach these goals it is intended that 36 teachers, which include school administration, teachers, 1st cycle teachers, the 2nd and 3rd cycles and secondary, attend training events that aim: Involving teachers and their students in learning, exchanging experiences and crossing practices focused on creativity and innovation; Acquire management and teaching skills in heterogeneity and intercultural (be innovative in the production of materials, teaching strategies and assessment; questioning as a means of learning,project work); Acquire digital skills: use digital scenarios in the process of teaching and learning; Develop cooperative and collaborative work (peer coaching); Improve management in the face of conflicts and promote respect among peers.As central activity will create a CAP for the development of the main support activities at six planned mobilities: planning of mobility,dissemination activities and planning the integration of new activities resulting from the experiences and adapted to the Portuguese context; application in the classroom of the new strategies and instruments where the staff participating in the project shows andreflects with peers in the classroom context, among its students; and evaluation activities throughout the process, to report on the achievement of objectives, allowing for collective reflection and not lonely, anchor the improvement of learning and innovation in the organization.It is expected a positive impact on participating teachers - in building their professional development by sharing their experiences and crossing practices focused on creativity and innovation; strengthening of teaching and management skills in the field of heterogeneity and intercultural, and the use of digital scenarios in the process of teaching and learning - students - development of collaborative skills and ICT; experience of innovative and creative learning; greater motivation for learning in general; greater tolerance towards other European cultures - in Schools Group - with the creation of a "community of practice" through the CAP; awareness of the European dimension; improving the quality of education services offered in the pool, increasing academic success and the position of the organization in the regional ranking - as well as in other schools outside the pool - with workshops to promote open to other schools; promoting the training of teachers in the workplace; transfer of a learning environment and creative and innovative learning resulting in cooperation between neighboring institutions.The dissemination of the project is always performed after the mobility, either through public presentation, workshops, booklets, flyers on paper and online at website itself and local organizations (municipality, center of teacher training and partner university) also either by Writing scientific article submission and educational journal indexed in open access databases.
