Bokartisz Non-profit Organisation set the goal together with its partners, E-MissionNature and Environmental Protection Society, Miskolc University and the TavirózsákNature Protection Association in Slovakia to popularise the natural assets of theenvironment. To achieve this, the co-operating partners prepared a colour publicationin Hungarian and Slovakian presenting the natural assets of the Bodrogköz region andtheir ecological and economic importance. They compiled a multimedia CD-ROM forschools and farmer training courses presenting the conflicts between economy andnature protection. An open-air exhibition and a travelling exhibition were also organisedto present this issue. The activities financed by the grant contributed significantly to theimprovement in environmental awareness.
