The EVS project is about the hosting of two belgian volunteers within the association Liens, Enseignements, Sens et Autonomie for a period of twelve months, starting on February 2015 1st . It will give these volunteers the possibility to take part in various activities organized by the association in the context where it's located, namely Eourres, a mountain area in the South of France. Thanks to the projetct and by the mean of the non formal education, the volunteers, Alice STROOT and Pauline BOSSUROY will know more about the agri-food field (bio agriculture, flowers growing) and the eco-constructions (essentially soil plaster) one. Being LESA a training center as well, the volunteers will have also some trainings in all these fields. Furthermore the association will follow them in the elaboration of their future projects. Volunteers main activities will be: working in the fruit tree path, developing animation activities to foster LESA possible public, taking contact with other associations to organize environment awareness events, developing the didactic garden, organising different activities in LESA, discovering the eco-construction. The volunteers will be sensitized to the topic of the environment protection and of sustainable consumption . These themes are strongly faced by the association LESA and the awareness of their importance increases also among the European society. Moreover the volunteers will be sensitized also to the principles of the European Union as the association LESA incorporated the notion of democracy and respect of human rights. Hopefully the presence of the volunteers in LESA association will have a strong impact on the association public (trainees, volunteers) and on the local community. The volunteers will inform the local community and LESA European partners about the possibilities offered by the European voluntary service. For the people LESA collaborates with and is addressed to, the volunteers will be an example from the pont of view of the values as solidarity and European belonginess. In the long term the project will entail the sharing of knowing in the environmental field and the awareness of LESA different public in relation to the environment topics. The project will also bring a more active collaboration between LESA and Compagnons Bâtisseurs.
