Our project,'Sen Varsan Ben Varım' will be conducted to create a better understanding of education in our institution, to ensure that individuals learn from each other and the environment and to equip students with the vision that embraces from the local to the world perspective. The aim of the project is to provide our students with pluralistic, participatory, effective ,necessary information to be able to take part in a democratic society and to provide behavior and capabilities to contribute to build a society that works for the common good, exhibits conciliatory attitude and has values and judgement. Additionally,not alienating the local variations but the accepting them mutually , to convert differences (ethnic and gender), which are misperceived as disadvantages into advantages and to create equal educational opportunities for students from different ethnic groups and social classes are initial targets of our project . To envoy idividuals equipped with the awareness "If you exist , I do too" and those who exist with their identity and cultivate peace with respect to the existence of another identity is the basic starting point of our project. Our team that will be carrying out the project consists of 3 directors ad 9 teachers who have worked in different parts of Turkey and entered into interaction with people from different cultures. Our staff has effective communication skills that can convert diversity into energy within our organization and also has the potential to spread it to social base. Our team who regards the world as a whole within their colourful cultures appeals to know the meaning of European culture and expand their vision.However,though our participants have experience with different cultures in the local sense, they lack the experience in the international arena.Our participants who aim to educate our students in accordance with the perception "Each value is special" are inadequate in how to integrate the cultural values of the curriculum and teaching materials. In this context, the title of the main foreign activities required in our project are as follows: 'Multicultural Education', 'Approaches to Multicultural Issues in Education', and 'Diversity'. First training activity will focus on the theoretical knowledge about multiculturalism and social identity and curriculum workshops will be held on the concept of multiculturalism replacement into the curriculum. In second training activity, proper material preparation techniques in multicultural curriculum will be focused on apart from some studies such as the learning games that can be applied to multicultural classrooms.So as the third one;such trainings as gaining the capabilities to prevent early school leaving, ethnic discrimination and gender discrimination ; and by doing the synthesis of all the previous trainings , a workshop on planning feasible,realistic solutions to find a remedy for the disadvantages of the instutition the will be conducted. After the mobilities,our project will be carried out from a desk that will be the center of activities in our institutio and box called 'Your ideas are valuable' will be placed at a place where students can easily access . Multilingual letters, handouts and posters will be released to the relevant entities, dissemination meetings in the town and city will be among our dissemination avtivities. After implementing the multicultural curriculum in Europe, the city council will also be informed about the project; in case the needful support is provided ,awareness on multicultural issues will be able to be managed on city council scale.All of these domestic and foreign mobilities and activities will take place on local and national press, project outputs and documentation will be spread via the internet and social media. In order to assess to what extent the aim of our project has reached ;some to the purpose studies such as surveys,monitoring and evaluations, story completion will be held and teachers will be taking class reports to be submitted to the administration on how much the goals of the project are met. Add to that,participation of the target groups in social media groups will be taken as a quantitative measure in the project . Subsequently,through this project,with the assisstance of teachers who have gained competence awareness of the differences in working in informal, formal and non-formal learning environments , a peaceful ambiance will be reached . Successively, the administrative staff's acquiring the knowledge and experience about the functioning of equivalent institutions in Europe and the rising motivation of our dynamic participant profile, the capacity to trigger a change in the sense of modernization will have been increased and and by turns ,multiculturalism and diversity being prompted as wealth by the adoption of the students,the European dimension and peaceful environment will be caught.
