Séminaire "Développer l'Impact du Dialogue Structuré sur les Politiques Nationales de Jeunesse"
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Dec 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Structured Dialogue is likely one of the most innovative and advanced process of Youth Participation in the world. It offer opportunity for number of young people, youth organizations, states-member, institution to engage together in a cyclic process leading to political results. However, the conclusions and orientations adopted at European level in this frame often fail to be transposed in the reality of national youth policies or youth plan. Many reasons can cause this: few coherence between EU and National political lines, lack of time or ressources for this work, too few capacity to imagine how european decisions can be adapted to national context, lack of understanding of european mecanism of influences, ... A National Working Group has been created in each member state, made of youth organisations, public authorities, Erasmus + agencies, ... its mission is, among others, to ensure this work of SD results implementation into national youth policies or youth plans. This seminar will gather representative of these NWG (Both Youth representative and ministry of youth) and aims at exchanging on practices and methods used at national level to ensure national implementation of european decisions. Thanks to the use of Non-Formal Leaning methods we will achieve to map how SD has contributed to national youth policies since 2010, to develop a common framework for national transposition of european orientations to youth policies, and to edit a compendium of good practices. The seminar will foster the impact of European work on national youth policies and so will ensure the sustainability and legitimacy of this european process, as well as making the voice of young people more heard in decision affecting them.
