Self efficiency village

The aim of the project is raising awareness on the topic of self efficiency and how it effects health and active life style. Participants will explore all aspects of self efficiency on practical example which will be the village where exchange is going to take place. We will cover all three economy sectors with activities that will involve: knowledge on ecological and bio cultivating of the land, how to storage fruits and vegetables for the winter, difference between extensive and intensive farming , how to get building material, how to get energy, how to provide clothing and other products, services , utility solutions and waste solutions. The result of all this activities will be a detailed plan for a self efficiency village for 150 residents. It will be presented as model which the participant will make as a final result. We will foster creative modern ideas on all the issues. The exchange will stimulate the future exchange of know-how. Included youth will have the option to practice active citizenship via learning peer to peer, identifying the needs of the locals, identifying the weak links (on local scale) and analyze the situation of each participating country as far as self efficacy goes. Youth will be equipped with the know-how, which they will present to the public. We will foster mutual understanding among youth during all project activities which will lead to implementation of the project aims. With the support of EU founds through Programe Erazmus + youth will have a chance to interact with their peers, learn new skills and competencies and most off all they will be active all through the project. We will make youth understand the impact of using such program me and how they can benefit from exchanging ideas in person, creating together. Participants will share the options they have in their country as well as the statistic on self efficiency, discuss possible changes and learn useful informations they can use later on and present their findings to the others. Participants will use newly gained informations in practice. Youth will develop their active citizenship throughout all the project activities. With presenting these informations they will add up to their skills and with the group activities they will learn to respect each other and develop mutual understanding. Project activity will take 10 days and will be implemented in Slovenia. The project besides Slovenia includes 3 more partners from Bulgaria, Italy and Latvia each will provide 6 participants and a group leader. Working methods: - active approach such as team building exercise, discussions, presentations, workshops, learning through doing things, developing social skills, peer to peer learning, view of good practices. Expected results: Participants will develop and improve their skills, take responsibility for their actions, develop social skills. They will gain useful informations and skills and understanding of self efficiency as in whole. Participants will as well build mutual understanding on the basis we are all part of one Union. They will gain informations about the programme Erazmus+, see how such project is running and become possible candidates for future application writers.
