See A Game
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Feb 28, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Project „SEE A Game” was a training course, activity training and networking of those active in youth work and youth organisations under mobility of youth workers where 9 countries participated in - Turkey, Sweden, Latvia, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, Romania and Macedonia and the total number of project participants were 29 and each country sent 3 participants. There were two trainers and one supportive person. The main activities were from 14-20 December,2014 in Mersin,Turkey. This project main goal was to teach youth workers, leaders, trainers from different countries innovative new non-formal, game-based learning activities which help them develop entrepreneurial attitudes, which partners further could use in their own countries. During the course of the project, this goal was taken the form of two games, namely MENU, a competitive role-playing game and FAIR, a collaborative card game. The different scenarios proposed in the games allow the assessment and ability to increase the entrepreneurship competencies and attitudes of participants, driven by game challenges. The need to train young entrepreneurs capable of competing in the European and international markets, and able to grasp the opportunities offered beyond the border of their own countries is evident, and investing in their training means investing in the future of our economy and society. The entrepreneurial spirit is not innate. On the contrary it is an attitude that should be cultivated and motivated. Often it is the right attitude that makes the difference between failure and success in entrepreneurship. This concept should be kept the fore when talking about young people who, although motivated, have not developed an entrepreneurial career. One of the most efficient methodologies for this purpose is the use of exercises based on the simulation that stimulate participants to carry out concrete actions and make real decisions. This is why „SEE A Game” work with game-based learning: to foster motivation and increase learning effectiveness. Basically „SEE A Game” is an LLP Grundtvig multilateral Project Nr. 142205-LLP-1-2008-BE_GRUNDTVIG-GMP) outcome. In the project there will be taught also number of other non-formal learning methods (group work, role playing, ice breaker ect.) but the main attention will be focussed on two game based activities – MENU and FAIR. Furthermore, the project will develop mutual understanding, intercultural dialoge, enhance creativity and entrepreneurship among EU countries participants and nowadays it is essential to raise better understanding among different countries, cultures and to share best practise about work with youth, especially about cases which could help to decrease youth unemployment in Europe and over the all world. Collaboration in the project ""SEE A Game"" is also as platform to lead to the establishment of long-lasting, high quality partnerships, which could lead to new projects in Erasmus+ programme regarding the project topic.
