SECURITAS MARE II - Spreading of knowledge about Crowd and Crisis Management Training, in accordance with the newly developed standard, to all relevant target groups and other countries within the community
The purpose of the project is to spread the knowledge about crowd and crisis management training among officers and crew members onboard vessels as well as to staff ashore shipping companies; these form the prime target groups. The aim is also to disseminate a common European standard, developed by the promoter, which has already been approved as the national standard of six EU countries. A learning approach with the introduction of crisis management, as well as more detailed courses will be developed. The project will provide curricula and instructors handbooks and manuals in all partner country languages. The course will be certified.
