Sectorial Learning Outcome Transparency

The core objectives of the SLOT project are intended:- To set up a common definition of the learning outcomes describing sectorial training programmes focussing on the transparency of the qualification contents;- To assess, validate, recognize and accumulate those learning outcomes acquired for better mobility.The consortium identifies this project as a prior and major step leading to a proper and accurate implementation of the ECVET System. The consortium is made up 7 partners: Luxembourg, Spain, Lithuania, France, Greece, Slovakia, and Germany. The partnership federates Vocational Education and Training (VET) departments from Universities (DE-FR) professional Schools (LT-EL-ES) as well as Public Research Centres (LU)and regional development agency (SK). Their core purposes are related not only to the definition of learning outcomes for qualifying and continuous training, but also to the constitution of a strong network able to pull the ECVET System through and to provide more flexibility and mobility in different contexts, whether abroad or under another system.The consortium expects to reach tangible outcomes as: one methodology for definition and assessment of learning outcomes; 5 training programmes sessions for 35 trainers and practitioners; one toolbox, including: the implementation of the method, practical templates for trainers, a glossary in the main European languages (EN / FR / DE), a Catalogue of Professional Qualifications, a set of Frequent Answer Question (FAQ) and a Dissemination Plan for internal, external communication and networking.
