The project involves cooperation of two groups of young people from Poland and Spain between 13 and 15 years old. The project partners are two schools which have an extended experience in non-formal education, are open to innovations and willing to cooperate on an international level. The objectives of the project are as follows: -more frequent use of ICT: eTwinning, Skype, Prezi, Pontoon, Facebook, schools' websites, software for creating films, -a more practical approach to science: more interest into science and natural phenomena from students,-a practical use of foreign languages: Spanish and English and more motivated students wanting to learn foreign languages, -popularisation of entrepeneurship among young people not only in national groups but especially in international groups as an answer to the demands of the contemporary world, -conscious and creative thinking of the involved students, -promotion of peer education, -more involvement of students in the educational process, -promotion of non-formal education -development of tools, methods, programmes enabling to raise qualifications of the teachers working with the youth (the use of ICT, innovative pedagogical approach), -international cooperation among schools resulting in the exchange of good practices,-creation of a map by students with the best places in Poland and Spain for learning science through experience, -creation of commercials advertising the places to the partner school, -creation of a board game with the use of the skills and knowledge gained during the project. The number of the directly involved participants is: 40 (36 youngs people and 4 teachers/coaches), indirectly involved participants: 500. The project will involve the following activities: - the work on places promoting Science in Poland and Spain, - the creation of a map with the best places promoting Science; - the creation of commercials advertising the places, -the visits to the places by the partner, -the creation of a board game concerning Science and the use of the gained knowledge. The project also involves much work in national groups, meetings on Skype, TwinSpace, publication of the results of the project online - school's websites, facebook accounts. The impact of the project is divided into three categories: a) impact on participants- greater knowledge about scientific achievements of both countries,- greater cultural awareness,- improvement of communication in a foreign language, - better group work skills, - greater self-confidence, -improvement of entrepreneurial skillsb) impact on participating organisations-improvement of methodological skills of all teachers within the participating schools, - greater and more efficient use of ICT tools during classes and in informal education, - interest in further international cooperation, - reconsideration/rearrangement of organisation of informal education at the schools, - gained experience in project managementc) impact on target groups- improvement of methodology and use of ICT tools among the participants of workshop/conference for teachers, - interest of other schools in participation in European projects, - use of ideas from booklet with good practices in informal education among teachers (staff at both schools, conference visitors, European teachers in general - internet users of dissemination platform).Longer term benefits resulting from the project: - greater knowledge about scientific achievements of both countries, - greater cultural awareness, - improvement of communication in a foreign language, - better group work skills, - greater self-confidence of participants, - experience in project management, -improvement of methodological skills of all teachers within the participating schools and workshop/conference attendants,- attitudes of tolerance and openness towards other cultures, - improvement in exam results in scientific subjects, - parent awareness of learning processes and child's needs within informal education, hence greater support for child and school, - greater knowledge about EU funding and European partnership possibilities within Erasmus+.
