This application supplements the already ongoing strategy of the OSZ IMT reach out into he international context of learning and training. By means of work shadowing , participatory observation, through new and meaningful contacts we exspect our staff to be introduced to new teaching methods, alternative solutions for educational problems and generally buildung new networks of good practice. Ideally it would be possible to transfer most of he innovative experiences directly back into our daily routine. But we are aware that these further trainings should be seen as beeing part of our continuous effort to improve the quality of teaching, increase cooperation between teachers and share knowledge. But we do expect that international experiences will have a lasting impact on the didactical concepts and educational methods of our staff. We are also aware that a modern College will not be able to prepare its students for a demanding and challing future unless teachers themselves are open and alter to new trends, develop language skills and generally retain an exploring and innovative mind. Therefore, we consider our project as rather fundamental to not only enrich the individual teacher but also the european societies which need to have an understanding of each others common or different traditions and approaches.
