Visiting Finnish schools and attending classes will allow me to compare the different school systems and educational concepts, as well as to find inspiration for the school development processes at Mary Ward grammar school in Guenzburg, in particular for the implementation of the so-called "Marchtaler Plan". The ultimate goal is to incorporate those findings into my own school development and into the the new educational concept. By participating in this program I will be able to gain deep insights into the internationally successful Finnish school system. In the long term, these insights should be of benefit not only for my own school, but for all schools that are part of the superior school authority in Bavaria.
