One of the participant is a school librarian in a primary school. Next school year (2016-2017) will he begin to introduce the course objectives „School libraries as learning centres“. The course duration are five days (1.-5. May 2017) in Zagreb, Croatia. The key issues during the course are new digital techniques and social media. And promoting new learning methods in primary school. The focus is also on the school library and promotion of reading. The participant will develop his teaching an promote the course materials among colleagues, another school librarian, in Iceland. The other two participants are drama teachers who want to take part in workshops and lectures in Ankara, Turkey ( IDEA, International Drama Education Association) to increase their knowledge. They will also teach a workshop "Drama through Students technical world". The course duration is seven days (11.-17. July 2016). Our school is the "head" school of drama in eduction in Iceland where pupils have both drama as a subject on their timetable as drama in education. Drama as a subject is new in our curriculum, since 2013. Therefore we do not possess much of a tutorial for teachers so it´s very important to get more knowledge and experience from the international society of drama teachers to increase the quality of drama teaching in our school and in Iceland. The drama teachers will share their knowledge from Ankara and give workshop for teachers at our school as for colleagues in The Icelandic drama and theater in education association (FLISS) next school year.
