In the light of current social events in areas such as migrations and refugees, the rights of homosexuals and growing poverty rate in all of Europe, we have detected a need to promote tolerance and intercultural dialog amongst the younger generations. The attendees of the short term EVS project »Say Hello To Tolerance« will prepare a promotional campaign to promote tolerance, intercultural dialog and the EVS project. The project will include 16 volunteers between 18 and 30 years of age, from 8 different countries which are Estonia, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Romania, Turkey and Finland. Half of all the attending volunteers will represent the social group of young people with fewer opportunities who have been unemployed for a longer period of time. During the project they will be offered various learning opportunities and activities, they will be encouraged and monitored, that after they return to their local environments, they will have better chances of employment or self-employment. Through all the preparations and organisations of promotional activities they will gain various skills that will enhance their chances of employment. The goals of our project are to expand the recognizability of youth centres, international youth mobility projects, and the Erasmus + programme, to encourage tolerance and respect of human rights amongst young people and to empower knowledge, experience and reference of volunteers and others participating in this project.
