The project aims to actively involve young people in local politics for the adoption and reintegration of refugees at the "Orchid" Center in Grotniki. The project will be attended by 13 young people involved in the work of the Youth Council of the City of Zgierz, and 30 participants from the agglomeration of Łódź who are students of middle schools, high schools, councilors, and NGO volunteers between 13-30 years. Young people will participate in the implementation of workshops on intercultural education, social studies and journalism. They will conduct public opinion field research on the reception of refugees in the adaptive resort "Orchid" in Grotniki, develop their findings and prepare recommendations for local authorities in the field of migration policy. The results of their work will be the subject of debates, seminars with local authorities, MEPs from the local community and honorary consuls of Britain and Finland. The implementation of these project activities is to prepare local communities for cooperation between the representatives of other cultures and religions, enhance public trust and security of local communities. Implementation of the project will be based on methodology appropriate for non-formal education, social research methodology. To achieve the project objectives it will be used workshop methods, field surveys and interviews as well as debates and seminars that will allow for the exchange of experiences, ideas and active participation in creating local immigration policy.
