The context of this project is school education staff mobility. Our center Sant Vicenç dels Horts Salesians presents in this call for grant a project called "Salesians walks towards Europe: multilingual center and internationalization of the school."This project is very important for our school because we are living a moment that is very important that our school has a distinguishing element in order to get more students and new students choose our school. This Project wants to open our school to Europe. With this, we can get an international dimension and we want to be a multilingual school where students learn at least three languages. Here you can see the main objectives:-Make the mobility of two teachers. One to train and accredit foreign language level to teach the next course their subject in English. The other teacher will do a training held in England to learn techniques of learning any subject through English and meet schools similar to our profile. To continue this project, the idea is to expand these mobilities to our students. We want to send them to other schools or companies for an internship. With all of this, our school will improve our education activities and learning techniques, improving the competences in foreign languages as well as having a bigger motivation and satisfaction when they participate in European projects. Also, the school will define and establish the plan of internationalization already started last year and improve the qualifications and skills of teachers.Everything learnt in mobilities will be shared with other teachers using meetings and sharing all the material acquired. As mentioned before, this year project wants to send two teachers to train abroad. The participant profile for the teacher taking the course in learning techniques of a subject through English is: - To be a teacher at secondary education or high school.- To have a minimum level of English B1- To be teacher of any subject, except English language teachers.- To be interested in participating in this project - Share the knowledge acquired during training and use it next year in their subjects. The participant profile for the teacher who takes the course of learning and improving of English language is: - To have a minimum level of English B1.- To pass an exam at the end of the activity in order to get de B2 level certification.- Share all the material provided in the course and will start to apply the knowledge in their subjects. This project presented in this call is part of a medium/long term project in which our school is working. The aim is to open the school to Europe and encourage our students to visit other countries to learn about other cultures and improve their knowledge in foreign languages. And also part of the proposed project is to be multilingual school studying between 15% and 30% of the subjects, depending on the educational level, in a foreign language. The possibility to implement Erasmus+ projects has a major impact to us as it is what gives us the opportunity to develop the project that our school has in mind. For the participants, this is a great opportunity to learn new things that they will use in their classes and it will allow them to participate actively in our school project. Moreover, they will improve their curriculum vitae. As indicators of the progress of the project, the school has several, including the following ones:- Scope and spreading of the project among those people involved with the school.- Percentage of teachers and students that every year are interested in doing an Erasmus+ mobility.- Grants awarded in the different Erasmus+ mobilities (higher education, school education and vocational training).- Evolution of the percentage of teachers that each course is using English to give their subjects.- Evolution of the percentage of teachers who are applying the techniques they have learned from teachers who have made Erasmus+ mobility.- Percentage of students doing mobility.- Percentage of students that certify their level in a foreign language. To sum, our school is working so hard on this project and others in order to get a differentiating factor from other centers of the same city. With this will obtain that students choose our school. A school that offers student and staff mobilities and where it is very important to learn a foreign language because the students are building their future.
