The working group Droit à la sécurité pour tous et diversitéculturelle: quels défis pour les politiques urbaines –S.U.D.C. started its work by carrying out a baseline studyof the concept and local policies already existing in thepartner cities for cultural diversity and urban security. Inorder to assist with communication and exchange, a glossaryof common terms was outlined. This document includes23 words or terms which have been defined by consensusof the working group and can be found as an annex to thefinal report.4 main objectives were identified for the working group:>To facilitate access to justice and human rights>To resolve conflict>To prevent violence>To adapt public servicesEach of these objectives was addressed by small workinggroups which were made up of an expert from Liege andan expert from each of the city partners.
