"Růst odborných dovedností žáků a čerstvých absolventů pro zaměstnatelnost"

"The project growth of professional skills of students and recent graduates employability" was prepared for 26 students of gastronomic branches and for one accompanying person. Mobility was 3 weeks long and it was realized in 5 batch in period from February to October 2015. Mobility was mainly provided through the hotel Raffaello in cooperation with specialized institutions such as hotel Free Beach Club , Restaurant ILL MOLO, hotel Bellettini and others. Not only on the basis of the results of previous projects, but also after project was ended simultaneously , we were once again convinced that internships within tourism and Italian meal for our students are very beneficial. The main objective of the project was to obtain an experience in the real market environment renowned hotels, restaurants, another objective was to verify the knowledge and skills, their subsequent extension and strengthening of practical training for ability students to resist competition. Graduates internships mastered better verbal skills, gained a better vocabulary in a foreign language, work experience, a new experience, but also new friendships and contacts. Students who participated in internships, they could compare the living standards of the countries, and they got a broader overview not only about working life in Europe. Thanks to the mobility occurred international cooperation between education and the business sector. Major contribution to the educational institution was opportunity for their students to organize professional internships. Students learned how to navigate the job market and thanks to the project, students obtained positively healthy self-esteem. Some graduates were offered internships and job in an international team led by an expert team. They learned to work effectively, economically think and act, thereby increase productivity and work quality using modern technologies, for example, for financial reasons, the educational institution can not afford to buy this modern technologies. The students worked with quality raw materials, learned how to prepare and serve healthy meals from fresh vegetables, seafood. During their work, students used the natural flavors in the form of sea salt, wine vinegar, olive oil and fresh Mediterranean herbs. They acquired new bartending and barista skills and techniques to improve their communication skills with clients and executed their orders in English, German and Italian. They reached a higher level of knowledge of wines with subsequent service administration of wine and food. In their free time they participated in professional excursions about roasting coffee, wine production, olive oil, but also learn the local markets, including fish. The project was primarily designed for students and graduates of four-year study program named Hospitality and Tourism, which needed to get quality continuous practice in various areas of hotel operations. Students named field of study had good theoretical knowledge but little professional experience, it was neccesary to improve their language and communication skills, and abilities. Thanks to the international internship, enabling them to apply and broaden mentioned expert knowledge, skills, abilities, to complex key competencies. They met Italian culture, mentality, and they deepened international relations in a social group. In the last few years, we have proved that internships greatly helped the students in practical training graduation exams, they were perfectly able to independently compile, prepare, serve festivities menu based on the experience gained from the partner country. Also students from three-year courses with a vocational certificate were participated in international mobility, namely confectioner, baker, waiter and cook. In previous mobilities and in the current project, we started cooperation with Czech educational agency Italy Gastro Promotion s.r.o. which helped us with the provision of internships with the recommendations of verified contacts in Italy for gastronomic industries. We chose reliable partners who ensure quality during practice under the guidance of experienced professionals. During mobility interns worked at various departments of hotels. Internships are carried out according to the principles of ECVET. Students who participated in mobility with support ERASMUS + had a great motivation for personal as well as professional growth. This project had mainly support students with social exclusion, whose financial situation does not allow them to travel differently. For this reason was increased interest about participation in foreign professional internships. Students got confirmed Europass from partner institutions and they were handed over Certificates of completion of training in their educational field. These documents helped with easier and faster finding suitable employment.
