The objective of the operation is to contribute to the definition and implementation of a global and coherent development strategy for outermost regions. All such regions are currently covered by Objective 1.The topics of cooperation envisaged by the RFO refer, on the one hand, to improving competitiveness in the outermost regions, particularly in terms of RTD, the development of business frameworks and the upgrading of natural resources, and on the other hand to insertion of the outermost regions into their geographic space.
